Zondereinde completed two school refurbishment and expansion projects in the Eastern Cape as part of its SLP commitment. These projects include Caguba Secondary School in Port St John’s Local Municipality and St Patrick’s, Secondary School in Nyadeni Local Municipality. The official handover took place in April 2024. Each school received five new classrooms, waterborne ablution facilities, a borehole and a septic tank. Existing buildings were painted and repaired, and electrical wiring and ceilings were installed. Zondereinde also provided each student with school shoes and socks for the winter season.
